Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ann Patterson

Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Ann Patterson, 72 of Madisonville, KY passed away, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Baptist Health.
She was born June 26, 1945 in Madisonville to the late James Parris and Mary Elizabeth Ashmore Parris. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Tomaro.
Lizzie was a life long member of the First Christian Church in Madisonville. She was an animal lover and a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved watching her grandchildren play ball.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill Patterson; two sons, Parris Barbara) Patterson of Manitou, KY and Jason (Kristy) Patterson of Nebo, KY; grandchildren, Shawna Brasher, Jami Leigh Patterson, Jonathan Miller, Harrison Miller, Keasha Patterson, Courtney Patterson, and Kendall Patterson; two great grandchildren; niece, Maria (Juan) Tomaro-Zaragoza; and a nephew, Jimmy Tomaro.
A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Madisonville with Maria Tomara-Zaragoza and Rev. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkins County Humane Society, the Elks National Foundation, or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the church.
