Frank Daugherty Obituary (1943 - 2014)

\ Frank Daugherty, 70 of Madisonville, KY, passed away, Sunday, September 21, 2014 at his residence in Madisonville. \ \ He was born, September 24, 1943 in Calhoun, KY to the late Victor Daugherty and Bessie Bales Daugherty He was also preceded in death by his wife, Diane Daugherty in 2004, six brothers and two sisters. \ \ Mr. Daugherty was a coal miner since 1968, he was a farmer and loved to hunt rabbits and rebuild old cars and tractors. \ \ He is survived by his partner and caregiver, Joan Clark of Madisonville; two daughters, Tammy Baldwin of Providence, KY and Tina Daugherty of Nebo, KY; one son, Timmy (Carolyn) Daugherty of Madisonville; one brother, Roger (Judy) Daugherty of Henderson, KY; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. \ \ Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Barnett Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY. \ \ Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from noon until the service time Thursday at the funeral home. \ \ Memorial donations may be may to Baptist Hospice of Madisonville.
