Harold Gene Albright

Harold Gene Albright, 77, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026, at The Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.
He was born on April 3, 1949 in Aurora, IL to the late Harold A. Albright and Melva Waters Albright. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Timothy Albright; and three brothers, Perry Albright, Timothy Albright, and Joseph Albright.
Harold made his living as a welder. He was a member of Lewistown Christian Church, where he served as a deacon. When he was not at work, he loved fishing, camping, being outdoors, farming, and collecting tractors. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his dogs, Curly Sue and China.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Susan Albright of Dawson Springs; daughter in law, Jenny Albright; three brothers, Terry (Dona) Albright of Cadiz, KY, Melvin (Tammy) Albright of Texas, and David (Daisy) Albright of Kempner, TX; two grandchildren, Kailey Albright and Dayton Kilgore; and two great grandchildren, Magnolia and Douglas.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday August 1, 2026, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home – Madisonville Chapel with Bro. Bobby Noel officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday July 31, 2026, and from 11:00 A.M. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Albright, Melvin Albright, Kailey Albright, Dayton Kilgore, Ricky Barnett, and Casey Stanton. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Rodden, Earl Ramsey, Ed Stanton, Mark Stone, and Terry Albright.
