Hester M. Binkley Obituary (1946 - 2010)

Hester M. Binkley, 64, of Hanson, KY passed away at 9:50 A.M., Monday, September 27, 2010, at her residence. \ She was born August 26, 1946, in Lafayette, IN to the late Cecil and Lucile Hester Manis. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Chambers and one sister, Dr. Bonita Cornette. \ Mrs. Binkley was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was a member of the Professional Womens Business Association and office manager for Pennyroyal Mental Health Center. She was a devoted Mamaw to her four grandchildren. \ She is survived by her husband and devoted caregiver, Jerry Binkley of Hanson; three sons, Jeff (Katrina) Chambers of Earlington, KY, Michael Chambers of Madisonville and Terry Chambers of San Diego, CA; one sister, Sylvia Boring of Semi Valley, CA; two brothers, Wayne Manis of Hickory, NC and Byron Manis of Glasgow, KY; four step daughters, Rebecca Gorski of Eau Claire, WI, Jennifer Matuka of Milwaukee, WI, Tammy Gatlin of Franklin, TN and Gwendalyn Bochek of Wind Lake, WI; four grandchildren, Sierra Chambers, Micah Webb and Joseph Chambers all of Earlington and Joshua Chambers of San Diego. \ Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Jared Leet officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Dave Arendt, Roger Lindsey, Gary Warren, Bill Box, Scott Gil and Lonnie Williams. \ Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
