Jacob M. Petri Sr. Obituary (1936 - 2004)

Mr. Jacob M. Petri Sr., 67, of Madisonville, KY died at 12:24 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2004, at Regional Medical Center Emergency Room in Madisonville. \ Born September 11, 1936 in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Michael Petri and Elizabeth Fuch Petri. \ Mr. Petri was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles and U.A.W. He retired from maintenance with General Motors. \ Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Mary Defer Petri; one daughter, Ina Ott of Kingsley, MI; four sons, Bro. Jacob Thomas Petri of Cincinnati, OH and formerly of Madisonville, George Petri of Kingsley, Michael Petri of MAdisonville and James Petri of Kingsley; one sister, Mary Akers of Lachine, MI and six grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father Gerald Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from Noon until 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ There will be a vigil service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with Bro. Thomas Petri officiating. \ \ \
