James H. \Jim\"" Pauley Obituary (1949 - 2004)

r. James H. Jim Pauley, 54, of Madisonville, KY, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at 8:26 A.M., at the Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. \ Born May 22, 1949, in Martin County, KY, he was the son of the late Lacy and Ina Lowe Pauley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Paul Pauley. \ He was a barber at the Razors Edge and was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. He was a member of the E. W. Turner Masonic Lodge in Earlington, KY, where he served as Past Master; a member of the York Rite, Moose Lodge, and the Mens Bowling League at Melody Lanes. He was the President of the Earlington PTA in 1985-86, and was a Salvation Army volunteer. \ He is survived by his wife, Linda Pauley of Madisonville; one daughter, Janice Marie Pauley of Madisonville; one son, Kevin Pauley of Owensboro, KY; two step-daughters, Cheryl Gossett of Henderson, KY, and Gerri Cheatham of Madisonville; two step-sons, Ricky Tharp of Calhoun, KY, and Tommy Tharp of Madisonville; two sisters, Lyda Leach of Proctorville, OH, and Pauline Stevens of Augusta, GA; five brothers, Don Pauley of Florida, Leon Pauley of Versailles, KY; Lacy Pauley Jr. of Soddy Daisy, TN; Henry Pauley of Chicago, IL, and Randy Pauley of Leitchfield, KY; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. \ A memorial service and masonic service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Cannon officiating, and the E. W. Turner Masonic Lodge officiating the masonic service. \ Visitation will be Wednesday, April 7, from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Salvation Army. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
