Juanita K. Stone Obituary (1918 - 2004)

Mrs. Juanita K. Stone, 86, of Madisonville, KY, died Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at 6:45 A.M., at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home. \ Born September 30, 1918, in Muhlenberg County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Werner Koon and Dovie Mae Stewart Koon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore R. Stone on September 18, 1956; a daughter, Pam Stone in 2000; one grandson; four brothers and two sisters. \ She was a member of First Baptist Church and had worked for Clinic Convalescence as a dietitian. She was a past member of the Mayflower Homemakers and a member of the Rebecca Lodge. \ She is survived by a daughter, Theda Brumfield of Madisonville; a son, Rudy Stone of Madisonville; a sister, Marietta Noffsinger of Madisonville; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Saturday, November 6, 2004, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ruby D. Rickard officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2004, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Saturday at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be Wayne Carlton, Scott Tomblingson, Steve Ruby, Brad Brumfield, Jonathan Brumfield, Mark Hoover, and T. C. Noffsinger. \ Memorials may take the form of contributions to the First Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \ \ \
