Earl Marks Obituary (1937 - 2006)

Mr. Earl Marks, 69, of Madisonville, KY, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at 4:56 A.M., at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born January 16, 1937, in Webster County, KY, to the late Laslie Marks and Macy McDowell Marks. \ He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and the Green River Loggers Council. \ He is survived by his wife, Doris Marks of Madisonville; one daughter, Cheri Rogers of Hanson, KY; three sons, Bruce Marks of Nebo, KY, and Danny and Barry Marks both of Sacramento, KY; nine grandchildren, Thad Pepper, Sam Pepper, Jacob Rogers, Tara Marks, Sloane Marks, Jacquelyn Ball, Tyler Marks, Amanda Marks and Tanner Marks and seven great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Friday, June 16, 2006, at 11:00 A.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Tondra Daugherty officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, KY. \ Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2006, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from 9:00 A.M. until the service time on Friday at the funeral home. \ Memorial donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church in Madisonville. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
