Lois \Mama Lois\"" Jernigan Obituary (1922 - 2014)

\ Lois 'Mama Lois' Jernigan, 92 of Madisonville KY, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. \ \ She was born March 9, 1922 in Sullivan, IN to the late Jess Monroe Huggins and Hannah Newlin Huggins. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William 'Bill' Henry Jernigan, two sisters, four brothers, one son and one grandson. \ \ Mrs. Jernigan was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Madisonville. She retired as a personnel manager at K-Mart. \ \ She is survived by one daughter, Adell Hughlett of Nortonville, KY; one sister in law, Daisy Pendley of Greenville, KY; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. \ \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Finley and Danny Fireline officiating. Burial will follow at Vernal Grove Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. \ \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday and from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. \ \
