Marjorie Pidcock McKonly

Mrs. Marjorie Pidcock McKonly, 72, of Madisonville, KY, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 9:30 A.M., at her daughters residence in Manitou, KY. \ Born May 9, 1934, in Hopkins County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John Baker Pidcock and Ruth Hazel Phillips Pidcock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Earl Jerry McKonly, on October 17, 1999, and a son, Tony McKonly. \ She was a former stylist at the Snooty Fox Salon and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and active in the First United Methodist Church Outreach Program. She was a loving mother and grandmother. \ She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Carter of Manitou; a son, Baker McKonly of Durango, CO; two sisters, Dorris King of Old Lyme, CT, and Rita Owen of Madisonville; one brother, Jim Pidcock of Tampa, FL, and four grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Saturday, April 7, 2007, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Revs. Weyman McGuire and Michael Behnke officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and from noon until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Nathan Rainwater, Tyler Rainwater, Seth McKonly, Rudy Owen, Randy Owen and Richard Clark. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to Green River Hospice or the First United Methodist Church Outreach Program. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
