Mary Polley

Mrs. Mary "Frances" Polley, 96, of Madisonville, KY, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, in Evansville, IN. She is now joyfully united with her deceased husband of 70 years, Everett Polley.
Mrs. Polley was born March 22, 1928, to the late David E. Raleigh and Allie J. Hancock Raleigh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, a son, David Glenn Polley, Sarasota, FL, a sister, three brothers, a grandchild, Polly Rainwater, and her son-in-law, Ralph Rainwater, Madisonville.
She leaves behind one daughter, Judy Rainwater, Madisonville, she was also blessed with six grandchildren: Crystal (Eric) Ramsey; Ross (Jennifer) Rainwater; Rachel (David) Hall, David (Angela) Polley and Cari (Robert) Hamada. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Frances wished to express gratitude to her "extended" family and loving caregivers, Ray and Debbie Rogers, Madisonville.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, Thursday August 1, 2024. A burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, 2285 N. Main Street, Madisonville.
