Marietta Noffsinger Obituary (1915 - 2005)

Mrs. Marietta Noffsinger, 89, of Madisonville, KY died at 4:16 P.M. Friday, March 11, 2005, at Brighton Cornerstone Health Care Center in Madisonville. \ Born May 29, 1915, in Muhlenberg County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Warner Crenshaw Koon and Dovie Stewart Koon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clemon Noffsinger Sr., on May 14, 2002, and by three sisters and four brothers. \ She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. \ Mrs. Noffsinger is survived by four daughters, Yvonne Galyen of Greenville, KY, Ann Tichenor, Reba Hicklin, and Mary Lou Noffsinger, all of Madisonville; two sons, T. C. Noffsinger and Larry Noffsinger, both of Madisonville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be Monday, March 14, 2005, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Tim Adcock and Minister Tim Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2005, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ Pallbearers will be Terry Galyen, Danny Tichenor, Alan Noffsinger, Michael Noffsinger, Chris Noffsinger, and T. C. Noffsinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Cardwell, Coleman Cardwell, Holeman Cardwell, Joe Hicklin, Glenn Tichenor, Jennifer Hicklin, and Michael Galyen. \ Memorials may take the form of contributions to Brighton Cornerstone Health Care, 55 E. North Street, Madisonville, KY 42431. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \ \
