Maude Lee Crabtree Pressley Obituary (1918 - 2004)

Mrs. Maude Lee Crabtree Pressley, 86, of Hanson, KY, died at 7:46 A.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born February 24, 1918, in Hopkins County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jim C. Knight and Cora Lee Foster Knight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Elvis Knight. \ She was a member of Old Salem United Methodist Church and worked for 27 years at J. C. Penneys as a sales associate. \ She is survived by a daughter, Priscilla A. Roach of Hanson, KY; a sister, Elizabeth Barth of Evansville, IN; two granddaughters, Suzell LeGrand of Madisonville and Laurie Wyatt of Hanson and two great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, December 31, 2004, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hatchet, Rev. Leighton Thomison and Bro. Tondra Daughtery officiating. Burial will follow in Slaughters Cemetery in Slaughters, KY. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Greg Knight, Jerry Barth, Allen LeGrand, Tim Wyatt, James Ray Jr. and David Turley. Honorary pallbearers will be Lauren LeGrand and Matthew Wyatt. \ Memorial contributions may be made to Old Salem Methodist Church c/o of Ralph Brown, P.O. Box 93 Hanson, KY 42413.
