Michael K Brasher, Jr. Obituary (1976 - 2014)

\ \ \ Michael Kay Brasher Jr., 37 of Madisonville, passed away Tuesday October 21, 2014 at his residence. \ \ He was born November 16, 1976 to Linda Tapp Brasher and the late Michael K. Brasher, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents. \ \ Michael worked 18 years in maintenance for Modern Welding in Madisonville. He was a 1996 graduate of West Hopkins School. He loved to build race cars, racing, motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting, camping, remote control cars and most of all spending time with his son and niece. \ \ In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girlfriend of 19 years, Lindy Brown of Madisonville; his son, James Willis Brasher of Madisonville; a one brother, Bradley Evan Brasher of Madisonville; a niece, Sydney Brasher; an aunt, Margie Ford of Nortonville, KY and several aunts, uncles and cousins. \ \ Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday October 24, 2014 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville. \ \ Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the service time Friday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. \ \ Pallbearers will be Steve Payne, Willis Allen, Nick Allen, Phillip Ford, David Berry, Bill Davis and Jeff Foster \ \ Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
