M. Onalee Covington Obituary (1924 - 2010)

Mrs. M. Onalee Covington, 85, of Mortons Gap, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville. \ She was born December 11, 1924 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Audie Wilson and Ada Tinnal Wilson. \ Mrs. Covington was a member of the Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in White Plains where she was a member of the Womens Group. She also loved to play cards. \ She is survived by her husband, Charles F. Covington of Mortons Gap; three step-daughters, Charlotte Milligan of Slaughters; Cynthia (Michael) Creekmur of Nebo and Cheryl (Allen) Covington-Korinta of Nortonville; two step-sons, Chris (Sue) Goulas of Sacramento, CA and Cary Covington of Madisonville; one sister, June (Charles) Davis of Lafollette, TN; one nephew, Rufus Wilson of Atlanta, GA; eight step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. \ Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in White Plains with Rev. John Shoulta officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home and from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at the church. \ Pallbearers will be Cary Covington, Andrew Covington, Allen Korinta, Buddy Martin, Joshua Creekmur and Michael Creekmur. Honorary pallbearers will be Jared Creekmur, Barrett Korinta and Brogan Korinta. \
