Nannie B. Beshear Obituary (1909 - 2006)

Mrs. Nannie R. Beshear, 97, of Madisonville, KY, went home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2006 at 4:10 P.M. following a short illness. She died at her home. \ She was born January 7, 1909 in Christian County, KY to Josephes and Virginia Vinson Russell. She worked at Browns Nursing Home. She and her husband were founders of the Gospel Temple Church in Princeton, KY. \ She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. O. Beshear in 1962; a daughter, Mayme Heaton Beshear; a twin sister, Annie Dillingham; two stepsons, James Beshear and J. C. Beshear; two stepdaughters, Ressie Capps and Mable Brown and one brother, Everett Vinson. \ She is survived by two daughters, Frances Beshear of Madisonville and Helen Gordon of Princeton, KY; a stepdaughter, Nancy Trevett of Rochester, NY; five grandchildren, John Beshear, Judy Gray, Debbie Dees and Tony Yates, all of Princeton and Lindsey Dees of Louisville, KY; seven great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and two nieces, Robbie Mitchell and Sue Dycus. \ Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Hendricks and Bro. Danny Strader officiating. Burial will follow in McNeely Cemetery near Dawson Springs, KY. \ Pallbearers will be John Beshear, Tony Yates, Tommy Beshear, Timmy Beshear, Tyler Beshear and Brian Gray. \ Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday. \
