Nelma Jean Kittinger Obituary (1928 - 2008)

Mrs. Nelma Shine Jean Kittinger, 79, of Madisonville, KY, died 2:10 P.M. Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ She was born October 25, 1928 in Rich Hill, MO to the late Harlan Jennings and Inez Mae Garrison Vodry. Mrs. Kittinger was also preceded in death by her husband, James Wallace Kittinger, October 18, 2007; three sisters, Mary Young, Frances Davis and Bonnie Covey and one brother, Harlan Buz Vodry. \ Mrs. Kittinger was a member of the Anton Homemakers. \ She is survived by her daughter, Jawana Brown of Madisonville. \ Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Chester Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. \ Pallbearers will be Donald Hubbard, Brent Jacobs, Jimmy Ferguson, Donald Rainwater, Keith Kittinger and Rusty Kittinger. \ Memorial donations may be made to the Mahr Cancer Center or the Hopkins County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
