Frances Oglesby Berry Obituary (1913 - 2007)

Mrs. Frances Berry, 94, of Madisonville, KY died at 4:25 P.M. Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home. \ Born August 3, 1913 in Ortiz, KY she was the daughter of the late Francis Marion Oglesby and Mayme Prow Oglesby . She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harold Berry on June 4, 2006 and one brother, Fred Oglesby. \ She was an office manager for the former Hopkins County Hospital for 27 years. She was a member of the Madisonville First United Methodist Church, the Isabelle Gardiner Sunday School Class and the Golden Age Group. She also volunteered at the Regional Medical Center. \ She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Wasilina of Chesterfield, MI and one son, Larry Michael Berry of Madisonville; five grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Don Davis and Rev. Gene Pillow officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday and on Wednesday after 10:00 A.M. until the service. \ Pallbearers will be Jeff McGil, Russell Prow, Pete Kasap, Jim Stiveson, Bill Wasilina, Erik Stokes, john Vickers and John Wasilina. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the First United Methodist Church. \
