Nora Sue Nance

Nora Sue Nance, 80, of Madisonville, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville.
Mrs. Nance was born September 3, 1935 in Hopkins Co., KY to the late Joseph Cleveland Prow and Hazel Marie Oliver Prow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Nance, and one grandson, Dustin Nance.
She made her living as a homemaker. She was a member of Lone Star Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Tereisa (Rusty) Kittinger; two sons, Steve (Nan) Nance and Daniel (Tang) Nance, all of Madisonville; two sisters, Mary Duncan and Lyla Hammack; four brothers, Paul Prow, Gene Prow, Harold Prow, and Alvin Prow; seven grandchildren, Cliff (Andrea) Nance, Rebecca (Steven) Ramage, Angela (Irvin) Wright, Yunan Yang, Amelia Nance, Joseph Nance, and Adrin Nance; and seven great grandchildren, Landon Cline, Macy Wright, Luke Wright, Evan Nance, Claire Nance, Allie Ramage, and Alastar Nance.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Lone Star Pentecostal Church with Bro. Josh Lutz and Bro. Richard Sisk officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home and from 9:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Steven Ramage, Irvin Wright, Cliff Nance, Yunan Yang, Joseph Nance, and Alvin Prow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Kentucky Alzheimer's Disease Center at 800 South Limestone St., Lexington KY, 40536. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.
