Alan Lovvorn Obituary (1951 - 2009)

Mr. Alan Lovvorn, 58, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 7:32 A.M., Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ He was born February 8, 1951 in Murfreesboro, TN to the late Odis Lovvorn and Evelyn Pittard Gipson of Madisonville. \ Mr. Lovvorn worked for GE Aircraft Engines in Madisonville. \ He is survived by his wife, Sandra Winstead Lovvorn of Madisonville; mother, Evelyn Pittard Gipson of Madisonville; two sons, Eric Lovvorn of Irvine, CA and Brian (Lori) Lovvorn of Madisonville; four sisters, Brenda Clark of Madisonville, Shirley Hoskins and Anita Hanner both of Hanson, KY and Debbie Boxer of Frisco, TX; one granddaughter, Caroline Lovvorn of Madisonville. \ Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Winstead officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. \
