Parneta Faye Rudd Obituary (1916 - 2010)

Mrs. Parneta Faye Rudd, 94, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 1:20 A.M., Sunday, March 28, 2010 at NHC Healthcare in Madisonville. She was born January 23, 1916 in Madisonville, KY to the late Floyd Rudd and Nannie Hampton Rudd. She is also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Mrs. Rudd was a lifetime member of Providence Rural United Methodist Church. She is survived by a cousin, Laurel (Kathryn) Rudd, Jr. of Madisonville; caregivers, Mildred Littlepage and Florence Rudd and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Leighton Thomison officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery in Hanson. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday and 9:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rodger Rudd, David Rudd, Richard Baldwin, Terry Rudd, WT Fowler and Gary Nance. Memorial contributions may take the form of donation to the Providence Rural United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
