Phillip Warren Whitmer Obituary (1955 - 2006)

Mr. Phillip Warren Whitmer, 51, of Madisonville, KY, died at 5:40 P.M. Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ Born January 17, 1955 in Central City, KY. He was the son of Joe Warren and Donna Downing Whitmer. \ Mr. Whitmer was a member of the Hanson United Methodist Church. Mr. Whitmer was a Right of Way supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Highways. \ Surviving are his wife, Barbara Whitmer of Madisonville, his mother, Donna Whitmer of Central City, two sons, Adam Whitmer and Eric Whitmer both of Madisonville and one sister, Susan Melton of Central City. \ Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Sunday, November 12, 2006, at Hanson United Methodist Church with Pastor Carol Owen officiating. Burial will be in Hanson Cemetery. \ Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and after 1:30 P.M. Sunday at Hanson United Methodist Church. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to Hanson United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 2740 Brown Badgett Loop., Madisonville, KY 42431. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
