Sidney Howard Gaddis

Sidney Howard Gaddis, 75 of Madisonville, KY, passed away Sunday July 14, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Gaddis was born on December 11, 1948, in Greenville, KY to the late Millard and Louise Lovell Gaddis.

Sidney served as a US Army MP, and then worked for Atmos Energy as a Service Tech. He loved spending time with his brother, Al Gene, bush hogging. When he was not working or doing yard work, he was watching the St. Louis Cardinals play, and was an avid Kentucky basketball fan. He loved cooking and spending time with family and his dogs: Hannah and Kate.
He is survived by his wife, Electa Vernon Gaddis, of Madisonville, his son, Timothy Gaddis; his sister, Krista Gaddis; his brothers, Al Gene (Judy) Gaddis, and John Robert (Jeanne) Gaddis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday July 17, 2024, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville with Bro. Bill Bursztynski. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
