Tom Owen Pewitt Obituary (1966 - 2014)

\ Thomas 'Tom' Owen Pewitt, 47, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at his residence. \ \ He was born April 9, 1966 in Franklin, TN to the late Fred Pewitt and Nellie Todd Pewitt. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Joy Pewitt and an infant child, Faith Pewitt. \ \ Mr. Pewitt was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Madisonville. He enjoyed reading The Bible and devotionals. He also enjoyed helping others, with an amazing love for people and nature. \ \ He is survived by his wife, Janet Olson Pewitt; three sisters and one brother. \ \ Memorial services will be 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 6, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Madisonville with Rev. Lon Lorton officiating. \ \ Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at the church. \ \ Memorial contributions can be made to the Tom Pewitt Fund c/o Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the church. \ \
