Mae Taylor Obituary (1920 - 2003)

Mrs. Mae Taylor, 83, of Madisonville, KY, died Saturday, December 6, 2003, at 7:45 P.M. at the Senior Citizens Nursing Home in Madisonville. \ Born June 15, 1920, in Muhlenberg County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ruth Groves. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Ward Taylor, in 1990. \ Mrs. Taylor was a housewife. \ She is survived by a step-son, Ronnie Taylor of Raleigh, NC; one brother, L. T. Groves of Mt. Vernon, IN; and several nieces and nephews. \ Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at 2:00 P.M., at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Cummings and Bro. George Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Grapevine Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., and from 11:00 A.M. until the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. \
