Velma Ruth Ezell

Mrs. Ruth Ezell, 68, of Nortonville, KY died at 9:52 P.M. Sunday, May 27, 2007 at her residence. \ Born December 3, 1938 in Hopkins County, KY she was the daughter of the late William T. Johnny Gibson and Hallie Hawkins Gibson. She was also preceded in death by one son, Tony Sisk on Nov. 11, 2003. \ She was a home improvement contractor. \ She is survived by one son, Marty Sisk of Douglasville, GA; two sisters, Bea Cunningham and Brenda Faughn, both of Madisonville; four brothers, J.W. Gibson of Hanson, KY, James Gibson of Madisonville, Bobby Gibson of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Billy Gibson of Madisonville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Jack Tooley of Nortonville. \ Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Lance Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Flat Creek Cemetery in Mortons Gap, KY. \ Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the services at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the Green River Hospice.
