Willa \Bil\"" DeVore Obituary (1927 - 2008)

Mrs. Willa Mae Bil DeVore, 80, of Madisonville, KY, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 8:15 P.M. at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. \ She was born June 27, 1927 in Big Flat, Arkansas, to the late William Penzial Young and Lillie Josephine Treat Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chlorus Paul Chub DeVore on February 11, 2006 and three brothers. \ She was an administrative assistant for the Kentucky Cabinet of Human Resources. She was a member of First Church of God and W.C.G. Group. \ She is survived by a daughter, Paulette Laffoon of Madisonville; two sons, Donald Richard DeVore of Cadiz, KY and Roger Dale DeVore of Versailles, KY; a sister, Melissa Modean Brink of Flora, IL; nine grandchildren and twenty plus great grandchildren. \ Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Pastor Bob White officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons. \ Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the service. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
