William Wayne \Bubby\"" Ashby Obituary (1938 - 2007)

Mr. William Wayne Bubby Ashby, 69, of Madisonville, KY, died Sunday, September 30, 2007, at 3:25 A.M. at his residence. \ Born April 11, 1938, in Madisonville, he was the son of the late William Ellis Ashby and Ethel Emaline Menser Ashby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Elaine Ashby and a sister, Juanita Ashby Spence. \ He was a coal miner and retired from Peabody Coal Company Camp #11 Mines. \ He is survived by his wife Donna Ashby of Madisonville; four sons, Randy Ashby of Cottontown, TN, Shannon Ashby of Morgantown, KY, Tracy Ashby and Jason Ashby, both of Madisonville; a brother, Erbie L. Ashby of Madisonville; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. \ Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at 11:00 A.M., at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Mr. Gilbert Dortch officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. \ Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. until the service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. \ Memorials may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \
