Wilma Royster Proctor

rs. Wilma (Royster) Proctor, 86, of Madisonville, KY died at 10:22 P.M. Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the Regional Medical Center. \ Born December 2, 1918 in Poole, KY she was the daughter of the Samuel Royster and Lela Johnson Royster. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther James Proctor in 1997, one son, Ronald Wayne Proctor in 1992 and one sister, Allyne Lansden in 1994. \ She was the manager of the Greyhound Bus station, a member of the First Baptist Church of Madisonville and the Young At Heart Club. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Ladies Elks Auxiliary #738, and the Madisonville Womans Club. She was a volunteer at Glema Mahr Fine Arts Center and a volunteer at NHC Health Care. \ She is survived by one son, Larry Glenn Proctor of Cincinnati, OH; six grandchildren, Rachel Billany of Phoenix, AZ, Jessica Proctor of Cincinnati, Joy Proctor of Lakeland, FL, Stephanie Norris of Louisville, KY, Michael Proctor of Louisville, and Chris Proctor of Earlington, KY; six great grandchildren, one niece and one nephew. \ Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 4, 2005 at the First Baptist Church of Madisonville with Dr. Joe Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. \ Pallbearers will be Bill Lansden, Vince Norris, Michael Proctor, Chris Proctor, Bobby Strader and Doug Long. \ Friends may call from on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home and on Monday after 12:00 P.M. Noon at the Church. \ Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to First Baptist Church or the Shriner's Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. \ \ \ \ \
