Faye Jackson Vaughn Obituary (1944 - 2016)

Faye Jackson Vaughn, 72, of Hanson, KY, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Vaughn was born April 18, 1944 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Rev. Amos Ray Jackson and Geneva Case Jackson. Faye worked at McCoy + McCoy, York International, and FMC and was a teacher at Waddill School. She loved U.K. sports. She was a member of Stringtown Pentecostal Church. After retirement, her time was focused on her family. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Vaughn of Hanson; two sons, Tim (Janet Adams) Vaughn of Louisville, KY and Jon (Kristy Fulwider) Vaughn of Jasper, IN; one brother, Lindel (Jean Phipps) Jackson of Madisonville; and three grandchildren, Heather Vaughn of Madisonville, Josh Adams of Phoenixville, PA, and Sara Beth Vaughn of Jasper, IN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Hobgood and Rev. Ben Holloway officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday and from 10:00 A.M. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. All times listed in Central Time Zone. Pallbearers will be Jon Vaughn, Josh Adams, Matt Vaughn, Lindel E. Jackson, Donnie Davis, and Darrell Lee Jackson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon's or Stringtown Pentecostal Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
